Powder packing machines are specifically used for packing industries with one of the most common usages in products such as flour, coffee, spices, and protein powder. There are two main categories of these and they are referred to as the Vertical Form Fill & Seal (VFFS) machines and Auger Filling machines. It’s now high time to review the factors that distinguish each of them and or learn how all are relevant to the different packaging requirements.
Vertical Form Fill & Seal (VFFS) Packaging Machine
The VFFS machine also comes with the ability to perform all the packaging processes with ease. It begins by creating a pouch from a flat roll of the film and then packing the content (for example) powder into the pouch and then it is sealed vertically. This process can be carried out in high-speed production lines, although this can also be done in slow lines. It is characteristic of Vertical Form Fill & Seal machines to be able to accommodate different types of packaging material and different sizes as well making VFFS machines a favorite for any organization that is desirous of attaining high consistency and speed in their packaging.
